Stephen's Family Needs Your Support

Hello, friends and family,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out with a humble request for support for our son Stephen, his wife Jessica, and their beautiful family. As many of you may know, their son Rowan who is 4 was born with Alazami syndrome, a rare condition that affects every system in his little body. They have been learning as they go, and Rowan has faced one challenge after another. He is the brightest little ray of sunshine and cheers you up even though you know he isn’t feeling well.

Currently, Rowan has multiple medical appointments that are 1.5-2 hours away. While they now have medical coverage for him, they were unable to get coverage for quite some time. Now, at this time, their other son, Remi who is 3, developed an infection in his feet that required multiple visits to the ER and urgent care. He was admitted to the hospital last night in West Palm Beach and transferred to Miami Children's Hospital, where he is undergoing testing to determine why he isn't responding to antibiotics. They are currently two hours away from home. They also have 3 teenagers.

They have faced so much recently that was completely unexpected, and although they don’t complain or ask for help, I know that the load they are carrying is heavy. The costs of travel, medical expenses, and other things have added up quickly. Stephen had to miss a lot of work, and Jessica had to quit her job some time ago.

This is not something I ever thought I would ask for, but after much reflection, I realized that sometimes, we all need to lean on others for support. That’s where you come in. I have set a goal of $10,000 to help with medical bills, travel, and living expenses. No contribution is too small, and every bit will make a huge difference in helping them through this difficult time.
