Stephen's cancer care

Donation protected
So last week, I was admitted to the hospital because I kept blacking out.  I was there for 4 days, and received a few blood transfusions, and an endoscopy.  During the endoscopy, my doctor found cancer in my stomach near my esophagus.  Apparently this is the kind of cancer where we really need to get going on treatment as soon as possible.  It is called adenocarcinoma of the lower esophagus.

I am going in Monday for a PET scan/CT scan, then Tuesday I'll be going in to have a port installed to receive chemo, as well as to do a little bit of exploration into my abdomen to collect samples to biopsy.  This is where things start to get a little tricky, as far as I've been told so far I need to come with at least $3000 to cover my part of the coinsurance.  Obviously in the COVID-19 era, no one has that kind of money just sitting around, and even prior to this we were quarantined because Katie actually tested positive.

So to make a long story short, I need some help if I'm going to beat this thing.  I have no clue how much 6 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation is going to cost, and I'm already about to be tapped out just getting started.

Thanks in advance to anyone that is able to donate.  I'll try to keep everyone up to date on my treatment, and hopefully this will all be over soon.
