In honor of Coach Steve I wanted to make a brief joke, but it's a little cheesy.

Steve was an amazing coach who touched innumerable lives. The joy and excitement he brought on deck helped young swimmers want to come to practice everyday. Walking into Nitro you could always count on a warm greeting and smile from Steve. He loved to share stories and jokes with his swimmers, and they looked forward to what he would say next. Steve helped swimmers to feel comfortable in the pool and to really feel the water because he wanted them to love the sport of swimming as much as he did.

Steve's energy and spirit cannot be replaced, but in his honor we can do our best to replicate it. He often signed off his emails thanking us for being part of the Nitro family. Thank you Steve for being a part of our family!
