Stephen Wallace Service and Headstone
Donation protected
As most of you are aware our parents lost their only son and we lost our brother on Thanksgiving Day unexpectedly.
Asking for help is not something a "Wallace" does very often. However, we need any financial assistance to help with the service cost and the cost of the headstone. Anything will help!
A lot of people knew the struggles our brother had throughout his life, but not many knew how far he came and what he made of himself.
From as far as I can remember he dreamed of having his own business whether it was being the owner of his restaurant or working with his hands and owning his own company. He achieved that goal! In January of 2022, he messaged me in tears as he showed me his company on google! <3 YETI Construction <3 He did the work and took all the steps to make it a legit business. We are so proud of the business he built and the growth he showed at being a Dad to his girls. He loved his family so much and we loved him beyond words. Even when things got hard, when we felt like giving up we were always there and we always made sure he was loved even if it was tough love. I'm glad that he was able to spend the day with our dad and mom and was able to be with his family for Thanksgiving Dinner.
Stephen Wallace passed away on November 24th, after a day spent surrounded by family and filled with love. If you know Stephen, may you find comfort in that fact because nothing else mattered to him like family did. Steph would go to the ends of the earth for the people he loved, and he made sure they knew it. From simple things like cooking for others, cleaning nonstop, funny messages, and sharing videos of himself dancing online to make others smile, all the way to huge things like dropping everything to move in with and take care of his Grandmother in her final days. There is no one quite like him.
Stephen persevered in this life and his family is so proud of him. The things which Steph had overcome would have sent lesser men to their knees. He got knocked down and bounced right back. He took pride in crafting and perfecting things built with his own hands. He loved working in the garage with his father Mark, who he often referred to as his Hero. He started a business doing what he loved called Yeti Construction, in Traverse City, Michigan. It was there he found God, a new start, and his wife, Maria Wallace.
May we all continue to live full and adventurous lives and love others intensely, in Stephens's Memory.
Love like Stephen!
