Hello and welcome to my fundraiser for my move to Chicago, Illinois where I will be pursuing a Master of Music from Northwestern University.

I have loved performing since I was very young, I spent all of my summers and free time in community theater in my hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. In my final year of high school I decided I wanted to dedicate my life and career to pursuing my passion for the performing arts, and the following year I began a bachelor of music degree at New Mexico State University. During my time at NMSU I was trained in classical vocal technique and gained a new appreciation for the history of theater and opera.

After graduating in December of 2023, I decided to take a year off from school to decide on next steps and to prepare to audition for a master’s programs. I applied to five highly competitive programs, was granted live auditions two four of them, and finally received offers of admission to three. From my options I decided to accept admission with a scholarship from Northwestern University.

I am very excited to live in a big city with all of the opportunities it will provide. I hope to take as many opportunities to perform as possible, and to gain the valuable experience and professional skills that it will take to navigate the world of professional vocal performance.
