Hello, I am Stephanie Henderson, my son Stephen Marquel Thompson died a sudden tragic death. He was walking on I 495 south trying to make it home to DC when he was struck by a car and killed just before 2am 9/23/23. The driver of the mini Cooper did not stop to check on him, but fled the scene leaving my son behind to die. At the time of this incident, I believe someone put him out of their car on the beltway and he had no other way to get home but to walk from where he was. Stephen was a bright well-liked young man. Unfortunately he had no life insurance to cover him. He leaves behind his mom, two sisters whom he loved dearly (5years old and 3 months), a grandfather, two uncles, an aunt, grandmother, and a host of friends and extended family. I'm asking for help to lay my son to rest during this horrible, tragic experience. I thank you all in advance for your contributions and will keep you posted on his funeral arrangements.
