With heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Stephen Lapiuk on Saturday evening.

Stephen’s journey over the past four years was marked by extraordinary courage and faith. In the summer of 2021, he became very ill with COVID-19 and fought for his life. After a lung transplant, Stephen continued to face unimaginable challenges, including cancer and lymphoma. Despite years of pain and suffering, he carried himself with strength and determination, inspiring all who knew him.

Stephen was a true fighter who never complained. Even in the hardest moments, he remained positive and joyful, bringing light to those around him. His unwavering spirit was a testament to his faith and love for life.

He was a devoted husband to Marharyta, and a loving father to their two children, Leah and Maksim. His love for his family and his resilience in the face of hardship leave behind a powerful legacy of hope and perseverance. His passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved him most.
