Hello, my name is Emily Drummond. I’m 23 years old, and my father passed away suddenly in our home on September 4th, 2025, at the young age of 61.

For those of you who know me, and even for those who may not, it has always been just him and me. Over the years, we faced many ups and downs, with countless struggles—especially regarding his health and wellbeing—and it was never an easy road.

Steve Drummond was, and will always be, my best friend. I am at a massive loss without him. My dad was the one who raised me and taught me to be stronger than I ever thought possible, even if it wasn’t always in the ways I wanted.

Now, with him gone so suddenly, I feel not only broken but also as though I am missing a part of myself. Unfortunately, I have also been left with unexpected financial burdens that I am not fully prepared to handle on my own. This includes the costs of laying him to rest, settling his estate, and continuing to navigate the financial realities of life during this devastating time.

I never wanted to be the one to ask for assistance, but these costs have been more than I could have ever imagined. I am beyond grateful to my friends and family who have already supported me, but unfortunately, the expenses continue to grow.
