Hi,
My name is Joy, and I am asking for your help...
It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Stephen Holmes (Left), aged 34. He was more than a brother and son... he was an enthusiastic and passionate advocate for life, music, positivity, kindness, and community. His life was dedicated to making the world a more welcoming place for everyone.
Unfortunately, we are not able to cover the costs of his funeral. We hope to honor his memory properly and celebrate the amazing spirit (VOZ33) he was. Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to our family and help us give him the farewell he deserves.
Even if you cannot donate, sharing this campaign would be a beautiful way to support his legacy. In the future, we hope to continue his mission, spreading the values he lived by! I take it upon myself to keep his dreams and vision alive, inclusion, a sober dance/rave filled with love, acceptance, and compassion for all.
Stephen lived his entire life with cystic fibrosis, a condition that brought daily challenges most people will never fully understand. But he never let it define him.
He faced everything with strength, resilience, and a spirit that refused to be dimmed. To us, he wasn’t just someone living with an illness, Stephen was a warrior.
Through the hard days, the hospital visits, and the constant fight, Stephen continued to show up with love, humour, and a deep passion for life. He would dance barefoot, use music to express himself and overall spread positivity. He believed in inclusion, in bringing people together, and in creating spaces where everyone felt accepted and free to be themselves.
He didn’t just endure life… he lived it, in his own way, with courage and heart.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, love, and kindness during this incredibly difficult time.
We hope to have a service, to celebrate his life, with the way he would of wanted, love, dancing and vibes.
