Stephen Carl Barba (July 26, 1951- July 16, 2025)

Please contribute what you wish to help with funeral costs for our dad, Stephen Barba. He was known for his hard work, generosity, sense of humor, love and commitment to his family, friends, and passions.

Music was one of his greatest passions, and he found immense joy in playing his guitar and sharing his music with others.

He had a lifelong passion for racing cars and loved the thrill of the track. He was a part of Barba Brothers Inc. Racing with stock cars #22 and #16 in Middletown, NY and later joined Mariano Racing Association and remained a constant part of the race team as a skilled mechanic and crew member up to his last day.

He believed in building, not just with his hands, but also relationships and memories that stand the test of time. He was the kind of guy that was always there if you needed something and would drop whatever he was doing to help someone else. He was the hardest working man we knew. He never TOLD us to work hard, he SHOWED us. He didn't just guide us, he inspired us, and taught by example.

His kindness, generosity, and love for his family and friends will forever remain in all of our hearts. We love and miss him beyond belief. Thank you for all your love and support.
