Stephen "Big Steve" Garnett SR. Memorial Service

My name is Stephen Garnett Jr, on Monday 12:30pm my world was shattered as I received news that my father Stephen Garnett Sr. had passed in his sleep. He was assisting hurricane victims in Louisiana after many were left with no running water or electricity. Not less than 3 days upon being released from the hospital himself, he was on a 10 hour drive to help, and no one was going to stop him. THAT was my father. Helping the ones in need, helping the helpless, even if he himself was in need. I’m still in a state of shock, as this all feels like some horrible dream I wish someone would wake me up from.

In 39 years of being on this earth, no matter how much anyone tried to convince him to slow down, I never once saw my father take a vacation. Not once. On Monday, September 6th 2021, Labor Day, he finally got to rest. Unfortunately, my father did not have life insurance and his remains are still in Louisiana and need to be brought back home to St. Louis, Missouri ASAP. On behalf of the family and all those who loved him, we are seeking financial assistance to help bring my father back home for a proper Memorial Service where he can be properly honored for being the loving, giving, compassionate, selfless, human being that he was.
