From Our Family to Yours – Help Stephanie Heal

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out today with open hearts, asking for support during one of the hardest times our family has ever faced.

On Monday, April 28, 2025 on my way to work, I (Stephanie Cunningham) was in a horrible car accident that left my vehicle totaled and my body severely injured. I’ve already had to undergo 1 hip surgery and another one is scheduled, and I now face a long, difficult road to recovery. I suffered serious fractures and broken bones, and I’m currently unable to walk or work. Soon I will start physical therapy to begin the process of learning to walk again — something I never imagined I’d have to do.

My husband has been doing everything he can to keep things going for our family. We have two beautiful daughters still at home who have been so strong through all of this, but it’s been incredibly hard on them, too. Not being able to move freely, work, or care for them like I used to has been heartbreaking.

This journey is going to take time, and it’s already taken a huge toll on us. We’re facing medical bills, therapy costs, and housing modifications like making the house handicap accessible, as well as the stress of having to keep our household running with just one income. There are many unknowns ahead.

That’s why we’re asking for your help.
