Stephanie's Medical Bill Emergency

Hello, my name is Stephanie, and I live in the great USA where medical emergencies can absolutely bankrupt you. On June 6th, 2025 I experienced shortness of breath for several days, and it was recommended for me to go to the emergency room to get checked for what my doctor thought could be a pulmonary embolism. After a few hours and several tests, I was sent away with no conclusive results. Today, three weeks later, I was sent a medical bill for nearly nine thousand dollars that was not covered by my insurance. My family is in the middle of relocation and this is an expense we simply cannot afford. I know times are difficult for so many of us right now. If by chance someone comes across this that is able to help I would be eternally grateful for the help.
