Since getting deathly sick during COVID-19 in 2020, my life has changed in ways I never imagined. I went from working two jobs to waking up one day unable to walk. I live with neuropathy, muscular dystrophy, anemia, anxiety, and depression, and after trying physical therapy and medication, I now rely on a wheelchair and walker to get around.

The hardest part is how much this has taken from my independence. I cannot tend to my grandchildren the way I need to, and even simple things can leave me struggling. Sometimes just trying to fix myself a beverage leaves me out of breath, and if I sit up for more than an hour, my body is in agony. I hate asking for help, but I have reached a point where I cannot do this alone.

I am raising funds so I can travel to another country for stem cell injections, because this treatment is not performed in the USA. I am hoping for relief from the pain and for a chance to regain some quality of life. Donations will also help cover the related costs of travel and food, along with rent, electricity, and water bills while I am trying to get the care I need.
