My children have been seeing the photos and videos of their home land in distress.
Currently more than 1,300 homes have been lost.
24 people dead nationwide.
5,900,000 hectares (14.7 million acres) have been burnt.
Almost a third of koalas in NSW may of been killed in the fires, and a third of their habitat has been destroyed.
My children who are all under the age of 10 wanted to know if they could help, how could they make a difference, how they could help someone in this hard time.
They come to me wanting to do something to support the tragic events thats currently going on. I asked them where they wanted to donate money to if we could fund raise some, bless there heart they wanted it to go to everyone, families, fire fighters and the animals.
They understand they get nothing from this other than the satifaction that they where able to participate in raising money for someone in hardship.
We have come up with the idea that we will walk/run the wendouree lake (6km) to raise the money on Sunday the 2nd of February 2020 at 9:00am.
If you would like to come join us and support this with my children please do, they would love to see they are making a small impact.
