Stephanie Tibbe was trying to beat the boredom of the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic by going for a bicycle ride like she does almost everyday. When her life was changed forever.

She was out for a bicycle ride Wednesday July 22 at 8:55PM when she was struck by an SUV at around 45 MPH from behind. The bumper fractured  her spine. Her head hit the windshield and her body was thrown onto the street where she was knocked unconscious and slid across the concrete sustaining road rash across most of her body. While the driver did stop at first, after he saw her body lying in the street not moving he sped off without calling 911 and has not been found.

We have dash cam footage of the accident and pictures of the injuries that she sustained. She was air cared to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with severe trauma to her head and spine. She has a compression fracture to her T12 vertebra,  fractures in her ribs and her face. Her teeth were broken from the impact and she bit a hole through her tongue. She is in constant pain but is even more concerned about the costs of medical treatment. Now she needs our help to ease the burden since nobody has been held accountable.

Please consider contributing towards Stephanie's recovery. We don't know what the medical bills will total but we do know helicopter air care flights to the hospital are not cheap. And medical services are still needed to finish her recovery. Not to mention she cannot work for some time.
