Help w/ Medical Bills for Aneurysm

My name is Stephanie Thomas. I am a 42 year old woman in what I thought was good health. On October 7th, I had a grand mal seizure. On January 28th I had a second seizure. During this seizure I was alone and was not sure what had happened. I had a large bump on my head and bruises on my body with lacerations on my face. During the next few days, I began to develop what I thought were sever migraine headaches. I tried every over the counter medication and nothing helped. I could not sleep or eat, or concentrate. I experienced dizziness and double vision as well. Finally on February 7th, I told my 13 year old daughter that I needed to go to the hospital. When my husband got home from work, he took me to Via Christi in Pittsburg. They immeiately did a CT scan and had me air lifted to Freeman where they did an emegmency craniotomy. I emerged with 50 staples in my head but happy to be alive. I spent about 3 weeks in the hospital. I did not have medical insurance at the time and am currently facing about 3oo,ooo. in medical bills, 28,000 for the chopper ride. This is all in addition to the fact that I cannot drive for 12 months at the minimum and connot work. As many of my Facebook friends know, this is not the first tragedy I have faced, including the loss of my baby girl at 3 weeks from SIDS, and my husband being in a coma and almost dying in 2008(he was only 37). It seems like the pain never ends for my family, but we have managed to hold it together through lots of prayer. I am hoping you will help me and my family as we struggle through this difficult time. I am very blessed to have a wonderful family and friends who have supported me and stood by my side through everything. I would not be asking for this help if we were not in dire straits. I am hoping my prognosis will be good over time, but the added financial stress is not helping as you can well imagine. Thanks to all of you for all of your cards, letters and prayers. God bless and thank you.....Stephanie
