Stephanie Sweeney Memorial Garden @ Creekside

Stephanie Sweeney, a loving mother, sister, daughter, and Poway Unified teacher, passed away in October 2022 of Glioblastoma (GBM), an aggressive form of brain cancer. Stephanie was a special soul who touched the lives of hundreds of students, their families, teachers, staff, and the community. A devoted PUSD teacher for 29 years, 16 at Creekside Elementary, she positively impacted the lives of each student blessed to be in her classroom. Please help us provide our school and community with a tribute deserving of the impact she had on each of us. Funds raised will be used for the community tribute on February 4, 2023, to revamp and remodel the Creekside Reading Garden in her honor. We thank you for your support.
