Stephanie (Shoemaker) Johnson's Funeral Cost Fund
Donation protected
**Update on Stephanie 4/12/22:
It is with sadness that our family would like to share that Stephanie passed to Heaven at 7:35am this morning. She went peacefully right after her son Gregory read 1 Peter 5:10 to her: "And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast."
The whole family would like to express our gratitude for all of the donations you have posted to this go fund me account. They will now go to funeral and burial expenses as she didn't have life insurance. It is so amazing to experience when God steps in to take care of all the details. To Him be Glory Forever and Ever. Amen and Maranatha...Lord, come quickly.

Hi, my name is Alicia Blumert Fujii and I am setting up this medical care fund to be a convenient place where friends and family can do something tangible to help Stephanie and Robert during this difficult and shocking time. So many of you have reached out and want to help but don't know what to do. As many of you also know, I have walked this road, and I don't know what I would've done without the support of so many friends and family that carried us through that dark time. So it's easy for me and my passion to help others since so much was given to me to carry us through. Thank you for loving my Aunt and Uncle!

Hi, my name is Alicia Blumert Fujii and I am setting up this medical care fund to be a convenient place where friends and family can do something tangible to help Stephanie and Robert during this difficult and shocking time. For those of you who don't know, Stephanie was diagnosed with uterine cancer. She had a hysterectomy last year, then chemo treatment and was seemingly on the road to healing and moving forward. However, shortly after her sister's passing (my mom) last November, the cancer came back with a vengeance. Last time it was measured, a tumor of 19 cm in size is literally ravaging her body. It continues to grow. She quickly started chemo again, but ended up in the hospital with complications. Chemo was stopped and hospice was set up at her mom's house in Novato. The Dr. told her that without chemo, she was given 6-8 weeks. We know that God can do amazing things and proves the Dr's wrong all the time! We trust in God that He has her life in the palm of His hand.
Stephanie's medical bills are accruing and she will now need 24/7 care. She came home to hospice care last night. Hospice is amazing but doesn't offer full-time caregiving. We are looking into and praying that God would send just the right caregivers to help keep Stephanie (my auntie) comfortable as she gains strength to be able to handle treatments again.
See, she is not ready to stop fighting! The Doctor told her the other day that he was stopping treatment because her body couldn't handle it. We believe that God can strengthen her body to receive treatment and help shrink the tumor that is taking over her abdomen. We are also looking into alternative treatments that weren't an option while undergoing chemotherapy.
I visited her yesterday. Her body is weak and frail, she is only skin and bones with a big tumor that is literally sucking the life out of her BUT there is a strength and a fire in her eyes. She believes that God has a plan and has healing for her...in His time and His way. She trusts God no matter what.
How can you help?
*First and foremost, she has asked me to reach out and ask everyone to PRAY! We believe in the power of prayer and she and Robert are grateful to each of you who are lifting them up during this time. Please also say prayers for her son Greg and his wife Azin and their kids, Sarina and Darius. Please pray for God's will to be done. We give Him all the Glory!
*Stephanie has many food sensitivities so sending meals is not easy. If you would like to provide a meal, the best thing you can do right now is donate here. Robert is amazing and loves to find or create fresh, whole food, all natural meals and snacks for her. If this need changes, we will update with a link to a meal train schedule.
*Robert stepped away from work for the time being and EDD has not kicked in yet. Any donations you make will help them financially as they wait the 6 weeks it takes for this to get set up.
*Stephanie will need 24/7 care and Robert is an excellent husband and caregiver. However, he needs to sleep and step away to handle chores, bills, etc. Any donations made will also go toward the very expensive costs of hiring an in home caregiver. They will also help pay for the accruing medical bills.
*Please send encouraging messages either on facebook or here in go fund me in the message section. She will get to hear all the messages and really needs encouragement at this time! She loves each one of you!
*If you would like to send encouraging cards you may mail them to:
Stephanie and Robert Johnson
770 Clausing Ave.
Novato, CA 94945
*If you would like to visit, please contact Robert directly to see if that is possible at this time.
Thank you so much for the love and support. Please also say extra special prayers for my 95 year old Grandma Marge who just lost her daughter (my mom) in November and now is watching her baby girl go through this. You may mail any encouragement to her at the same address.
We cannot believe this is happening and don't understand it but we trust our Mighty Savior Jesus Christ and as my mom used to say, and we quoted her on her tombstone, EXPECT A MIRACLE!
God Bless,
Alicia (Warner) Blumert Fujii
