If you donate today, we can get Stephanie one step closer to being able to rent a house or apartment so she can keep doing what she does best, which is helping people.
Stephanie does self-advocacy in the Kansas community and disability rights advocacy for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for a living.
Some of her notable feats are her and her co-workers speaking at the State house in Topeka, running 5 statewide disability rights conferences over the summer, going to Washington D.C. twice for her advocacy (she was going to go a third time in the summer of 2018, but she had to skip it due to an injury).
But one of the most important things about Steph is that she’s a friend. Someone you can look up to. She’s someone you would feel safe approaching. A voice for the people who can’t express theirs. She’s a hero to so many people every day, just by doing her job.
