I have known Stephanie Moore since childhood. We grew up in the same church. Stephanie was recently diagnosed with cancer. This incredible single parent is in need of prayers and financial support. I offered to set up a GoFundMe fundraiser for Stephanie. Below in Stephanie's words is a short summary of her current status:
Stephanie Moore's Faith Walk 2022
My name is Stephanie Moore. I am a busy single mom working three jobs to support myself and my two incredible sons. On February 12, 2022, my entire world was turned upside down. I had been suffering from severe stomach and back pain. I went to the emergency room for treatment. A CT scan was done. The scan revealed a large mass in the middle of my abdomen on the vena cava vein that runs blood back and forth to the heart and down to the lower extremities. I was immediately referred to an oncologist in Bemidji. That oncologist told me to quit my job and spend time with my loved ones. I then obtained a second opinion from Mayo's oncology specialists. As a result of the Mayo visit, an extensive surgery is scheduled for April 12, 2022. The surgery will require me to be in the hospital for seven days. Upon my release, my at-home recovery will be six weeks. I will be unable to work for at least two (2) months. As you can imagine, this will be a huge financial struggle. I am humbled and deeply grateful for the prayer support I have received. If you are able to help with a monetary donation, it will be a true blessing.
