Stephanie Kearns - Recovery fr Traumatic Delivery
Donation protected
Stephanie and Adrian were awaiting the scheduled C-section for the birth of Baby Jack on Monday, February 24th when they realized she was already in labor early Sunday morning (the day prior). Arriving at Hoag Hospital, she was already dilated to 8 cm. The C-section was immediately performed, with the birth of a healthy baby boy... but during the delivery, her cervix, bladder, and uterus ripped and she was rushed into a 7-hour surgery involving 4 specialists to save her life while controlling the massive bleeding and avoiding a hysterectomy. Her post-op course has been full of ups and downs, but we are grateful that God decided it was not yet her time to come home to him. All of her prayer warriors have been heard.
She is now recuperating, and hoping to spend some bonding time with Baby Jack as soon as she's well enough. Many have asked how we can help. A meal train schedule is forthcoming, and your gifts have been appreciated. However, in light of the already tight finances, what Stephanie and Adrian could use help with is relief from not having to worry about how to make ends meet. In the midst of all this, they will be faced with unexpected medical bills on top of the additional childcare costs and loss of income from potentially prolonged time off work. As part of her Professional Business Women's bible study group (Stephanie is shown in the picture at our Christmas party), we ask for any donation along with continued prayers and healing thoughts for Stephanie and her family.
