Stephanie is a warrior!

Hi all! I really hope you take the time to read this brief explanation of why I’m putting together this go fund me and how you could be a big help. First and foremost PRAYER request for my Sister-in-law Stephanie.

My Sister-in-law Stephanie for several months, has been really sick with uncontrollable pain. This all started after a root canal she had done. She went back to dentist because it was infected, they gave her antibiotic to take. She continued to worsen so they had it removed due to the infection and gave her antibiotics. Weeks went on of being on antibiotics but only to find out it was making her worst and nothing was changing. They gave her an additional antibiotics to find weeks later that it didn’t work either but seemed to be worst. With her face swelling, uncontrollable pain, hard to sleep or even make it thru the day. But after many trips to the doctor they couldn't figure out what was going on. Test results all came back fine. Due to her being on antibiotics it tricked the results to showing everything was fine. Last week, after a few days in the hospital she was given the diagnosis of Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA), previously known as Wegener's granulomatosis (WG), is a systemic disorder that involves both granulomatosis and polyangiitis. It is a form of vasculitis (inflammation of blood vessels) that affects small and medium-size vessels in many organs. Damage to the lungs and kidneys can be fatal. It requires long-term immunosuppression. Given the severity of the disease and the rareness (affects only about 500 each year) getting an initial and accurate diagnose was a challenge all on its own for her. By the time the disease was caught her entire right side of her face/mouth had been deteriorating.

However, despite all the tribulation and the seriousness of her new diagnosis, Stephanie has shown her resilience and inner fighting warrior. She is the most, loving, caring, giving, beautiful person inside and outside.  She has been out of work for around a month plus and my brother has as well and their work is being amazing support system with this all. She has about 9 specialists (Critical care doctor, Rheumatologist, Pulmonologist, Nephrologist, Otolaryngologist) that are trying to put their heads together for a plan. She also had a stomach infection that caused delay in starting her treatments. So far she has had her treatments of 1000 mil steroids and the next step she will begin chemotherapy treatment, hoping to put the disease remission. Once this happens she will be able to start reconstructive surgery for her jaw. It will need bone and skin grafting. Even just talking her pushing air through all the holes in her mouth and they are continuing to get bigger and more appearing. She hasn’t been able to eat for weeks. Liquids. She had been able to recently handle apple sauce, cottage cheese, milk shake and canned peaches. . It’ll be some time before real solid foods. We are hoping her medical will cover for her reconstructive surgery.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8. Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

We know that with God on our side all things are possible and he is bigger than this all. We are asking for continued prayers for strength, comfort, healing, faith and financial help. I know by you contributing this GoFundMe will help Stephanie more than you even know. Whether it be you giving up a latte or energy drink one day or for the week or the month. Anything you can do to help her, we would sure appreciate it and forever be grateful.

 Again thank you so much!!!!!

I will keep posted with the most up to date progress of her. Thanks in advance for prayers and contribution to this cause.
