Stephanie Howard, Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) and Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) graduate student, is an extraordinary clinician who changes the lives of elementary school students who have special needs with her passion to build their communication skills. Now she needs our help! Stephanie is battling an aggressive form of cancer, which has caused her to go on short-term disability. Treatment now needs to be extended beyond short-term disability. As a mother of two young children who contributes financial support to her household, Stephanie and her family are now facing financial hardship.

Funds will support cost of living. Disability or medical leave provides only a percentage of your typical pay and after being on medical leave for more than 6 months she has to fund her own (and her family’s) health insurance. This has been a heavy burden for Stephanie and her family as she navigates the general cost of living, medical expenses, and supporting her two young children during this difficult time.

For one who gives so much of her heart and soul to others, it is a call out to the community to send it right back to her in the form of much needed financial support.
