Hi there, my name is Dani Reynolds and I am creating this account for my sister Stephanie Josey. Our family was forever changed on the morning Aug 23rd, 2025.
5am Aug 23, 2025 Stephanie woke up to use the restroom only to realize that her face and room was covered in blood. Stephanie showed up at my doorstep asking me to take her to the hospital. Once we got to the hospital she explained what had happened. An X-ray showed a broken nose in two places. After her blood work came back the doctors realized that her troponin enzymes were elevated. A normal person's troponin enzymes are supposed to be 14, Stephanie's were 641. Holy smokes! Stephanie decided to stay in the hospital because she had never had heart issues in the past and had no idea what she was facing.
After many tests the doctors realized that she had a heart attack that morning. After a heart catheter discovered she needed triple bypass surgery. Following the surgery Stephanie spent a week in the hospital and then was able to go home and start her healing process, or so we thought.
A month later she was back in the hospital with complications, she had another heart attack.
Stephanie still has weeks of cardiac rehab to endure and she is unable to go back to work until January 2026.
My sister who is only 52 yrs old has been through so much in a short amount of time and she still has a ways to go. My family and Stephanie didn't feel altogether comfortable asking for financial help from others, however we feel we don't have a lot of options. My sister's life is in jeopardy and we don't want her and my niece to lose everything as she tries to recover. Please help me raise enough money for her bills for the next 3 months so she can concentrate on getting better and not stressing about losing everything.
Any amount you feel led to give will help and will be cherished knowing that it came from someone who cares! Thank you in advance for all your help!
