Stephanie Dees Memorial Fund

Stephanie Dees was quite simply a bright light in a world that can sometimes seem very dark. She was a woman of faith who passionately loved God, her children, family and friends. She loved sharing stories about all of them, and you could get a real sense of the joy each one brought to her life.

She was in love with her children and so very proud of them. She worried about them of course, as all good mothers do, but she would give those worries to God because she knew He would protect and love them no matter what.

Despite any challenges she experienced, she always managed a positive attitude and smile on her face. She was fiercely loyal to those she considered part of her tribe and would quickly set aside her own troubles to listen to a friend in need.

She had a heart for those in need and a passion for finding solutions for them-especially for those experiencing homelessness or mental health issues. It was this shared passion that brought Steph and me together as friends over a decade ago. Since that time, I witnessed her giving selflessly of her time, talents and resources over and over again.

Steph was a Christian woman who God called home last week. She leaves behind 3 beautiful children who will need an abundance of love and support in her absence.
This fund is being established for that purpose, and to help her family with funeral-related costs, as needed.
