Stephanie and Tilian

Hi my name is Dianna Rizzo. Many of you know my beautiful, graceful sister, Stephanie. She is and has always been "the fairest of them all". She's truly the best piece of our family. Stephanie is 7 months pregnant. Unexpectedly in July, she needed emergency surgery to remove a blood clot from her lung. Further testing has revealed a cancer diagnosis. Stephanie is in stage 3 lung cancer. The cancer has already spread to her lymph nodes. The team of doctors has recommended she try her best to cope with the ongoing pain and lack of breath she has until Tilian reaches 35 weeks. At that time, early delivery will be her best option to pursue treatment. After giving birth and further testing, a hopeful treatment plan including chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy will span over the coming months. She is fighting for her life and the life she needs to provide for her unborn child, daughter Mina, and husband Miguel. Obviously, she will not be able to work for a significant amount of time. She and her family recently moved back home to PA and purchased a home just months ago. Stephanie is the one who carries the health insurance for the family, so there are so many unknown challenges ahead. Proceeds will be spent primarily toward medical expenses and mortgage, but there is no expense that she may need that will be ruled out. Please support us in helping her fight for her life.
