Stephanie and Jules with their fur baby Kevin!

Hi everyone, my name is Gabby and I am Jules and Stephanie‘s neighbor. Jules and Stephanie would give the shirt off their back to anyone! And now they are in a pinch of their own! Four days ago, they adopted their new fur baby Kevin (2 years old) from the Associated Humane Society’s in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. They made sure to ask all the right questions as owners of one pup already they asked if Kevin had a clean bill of health and if he was all good to go, the rescue stated he was and not even 12 hours into him being home Kevin had to be taken to the emergency vet for respiratory distress. He was sent home with kennel cough, which is now passed on to his sister, Kora. As we all know, emergency vets are not a cheap visit. And now here we are two days later and Kevin has blood in his urine and had a seizure on the floor this morning and again was rushed to the vet! Only to find out now he is bleeding internally from the rescues procedure to neuter him. He is now considered D.I.C. And has been to the vet multiple times and is on several medication’s seven and counting to try to get the bleeding to stop & cure his kennel cough and let him live a normal life out of the shelter. On top of all of this Jules and Stephanie have had to miss work as first responder's to get him his proper care while paying all the vet bills!

unfortunately, Kevin’s pet insurance that they got the day they brought him home does not start until the 21st! I would like to help them get his vet bills covered and his future appointments taken care of so he could live a long happy life with his fur-ever family!!
