Stephanie Adkins, for Madi and Freddy Adkins

Hi, most of you know me Freddy Adkins and my 16 year old daughter Madi Adkins suddenly lost someone very close to us, my wife and mother to Madi, Stephanie Adkins (46) who was a wonderful mother and wife, everyone keeps asking me what they can do to help, well this is it, this is one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through, this is also hard for me to ask for help because of my pride but for our daughter's sake I must do this. I'm not going to lie, I do have a small Insurance claim that will help with the funeral cost but that's about it and we don't know when that will be, it can take as long as 6 months or more. We all know how insurance company can be, we have a lot of other expenses that come with moving forward without that special someone that's always been there to help provide for our family and suddenly was taken away from us. When I found the morning of Feb 15th after she had passed in her sleep the night before, I still cant get that imagine out of my head, I don't wish that on any spouse. Its been hard to sleep this past week, to say the least, and I say this not for your pity but just so you know of some of things we are going through and no Stephanie wasn't working at the moment but she was getting ready to start back to work because her family needed her to and she was ready willing even though she was going through some medical issues with her nerves that was causing her a lot of pain in her right leg, at one point she could barely walk, she had gotten a lot better from that. She was walking without the help from a walker, and she was proud to be able to try and go back to work as an LPN, to what she loved to do most in this cruel world, to help people as mush as she could. She loved to care for the elderly, she spent most of her LPN career working in assisted living facilities, she had a special place in her heart for the elderly and would do anything she could to help them out.

Stephanie was looking forward to Madi's Prom, that's all she was talking about here recently, she couldn't wait to go and help Madi pick out her dress, so that's just one of many expenses you will be helping with, those of you out there who know, its hard for a family to survive on one income, that's why Stephanie was going back to work, as I mentioned before I'm very proud person and I don't ask people for help unless I have no other chose and this is one of those moments. If you chose to help we will forever be in your debt, if you chose not to help or you cant afford to help, we still love you all the same and we understand if you can't. Anything will help there nothing to small, if its $5-$10 we will be very happy with whatever you can afford.

I also what everyone to know that we already had a Cruise planned for our family in July that our wonderful kids Joey and Madi Adkins planned for us and help us pay for, that will also be another hard thing to do, is to take Stephanie name off of that Cruise, because she was looking forward to that as well, just so everyone don't think we are using this money to go on a Cruise because it was already planned and mostly paid for by our kids that love us very much. If you use that information to help you chose not to help that's also fine and we will understand and again will love you the same no matter if you help or not, I just don't want to appear to be hiding anything, we ask for help and all of a sudden we are going on a Cruise, that would not set right with me, if I was helping someone who ask for help, then they decided to go on a Cruise, I would think the same thing. If you cant help with a donation please just continue to pray for our little family that just got a little smaller.
