Hi, I’m Stephan and I’m a 24-year-old transgender man. I’ve been out and living as male for three years now, and have been on testosterone for over a year.
Due to the excruciatingly long NHS waiting lists, I have decided to use private services for my top surgery. I do have some money saved that I will be putting towards the procedure but I don’t have the means to fund it all myself, despite working on a freelance basis while continuously trying to secure further employment.
Being able to pay for this life-changing surgery will truly mean the world to me and my mental well-being. It’ll give me a quality of life I can only dream about right now, and will alleviate so much of the painful dysphoria that I experience daily.
