Steph's Fight Against Leukemia

On May 5th, 2017 Stephanie was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia: cancer in the blood and bone. She has already braved her first round of chemotherapy. Stephanie isn’t an average girl, she always brings out the happiness in those around her. She was pursuing her degree in nursing, looking forward to graduating soon, and recently landed a new job. Before she can get back to work and school, she has a new battle to win. As many could understand, the cost to win that battle is incredibly high. The chemo and the numerous tests are quite expensive. Chemotherapy itself can run well over $30,000 for the average patient over an eight-week period. She recently expressed the concern of not working and not being able to pay bills since she’s expected to be out of work for quite some time. Well, we don’t want her concentrating on her debts but concentrating on recovering and coming home to her daughter.
