Hi I am Steph and I am in urgent need of your help!

As you know, I live in my car and shower at the gym. But that is not what I need your help with right now.

I have type 1 diabetes (insulin-dependent) and use an insulin pump and glucose monitor to keep me ticking. Here are pics of my sensor and pump!

The bad news is that I can go into a coma if I cannot get refills on all of my insulin supplies.

Unfortunately, I also have rheumatoid arthritis, severe allergic asthma, retinoschisis, cataracts and 4 broken molars. It makes it hard to chew.

I owe over $37,000 in past medical bills!

I need to pay down my bills for me to be able to get the necessary blood work, refills and doctor appts to treat these chronic diseases. I also have to maintain health insurance to be able to do the above.

I have a very part-time job that was once a full-time job. I keep trying to find more work but so far have not. The income from my part-time jobs is barely enough to cover my car payment, storage fee, phone bill and most of my car insurance.

I cannot cut expenses any further than living in my car and showering in gyms. I already worry constantly about keeping my meds at the right temperature. Worrying about not being able to get refills is just one stressor too many. It motivated me to ask for your help so I can survive. They say it takes a village. I definitely need a village about now!
