STEP UP FOR ABI!

Last year our amazing friend Abigahail Del Castillo received the news that he has cancer.
If you know Abi, you know how incredible he is. He is hardworking, his smile lights up a room, he has an unbelievably loving spirit and is a kind and loyal friend. He is also an amazing son/grandson/brother/cousin and fiancee.
Because of the amazing work he does at CSL, Abi has insurance that covers part of his procedures but medical emergencies and treatments like this are very costly and always come with co-pays and unforeseen expenses and we want him to see and receive the best of the best. He travels a few times a week between Douglas/AP, Tucson and Phoenix in order to see his doctors and receive treatment. He has to make a lot of serious decisions in a very short time, so alleviating his worry of money will help him tremendously. He is currently going through his second round of chemotherapy and is scheduled for another surgery in the near future.
He knows he has a very large community of friends (and strangers!) who he has inspired and are more than happy to be there for him during this time. It is truly heartwarming to see our entire AP/Douglas community come together to help a single person. Now it's time for us to step it up for him-- any amount truly helps! Thanks friends!

El año pasado, nuestro amigo Abigahail Del Castillo recibió la noticia que tiene cancer.
Los que conocemos a Abi sabemos que es un ser humano increible. Es el da la sonrisa contagiosa, el alma de la fiesta y el amigo siempre fiel. Es un gran hijo/nieto/hermano/primo y futuro esposo.
Abi tiene un seguro que cubre parte de sus procedimientos pero las emergencias médicas y los tratamientos, como siempre, son muy costosos y vienen con gastos imprevistos (y queremos que reciba lo mejor de lo mejor!). Abi viaja constantemente entre Douglas/AP, Tucson y Phoenix para ver a sus doctores y recibir su tratamiento.
Él sabe que tiene una gran comunidad de amigos (¡y extraños!) A quienes ha inspirado y que estan más que felices de poderlo apoyar. Es realmente conmovedor ver a toda nuestra comunidad AP/Douglas unirse para ayudar a una sola persona. Ahora es el momento en el que tenemos que hecharle mas porras que nunca--cualquier cantidad ayuda! Gracias amigos!
