STEP UP 4 SAM: Support Samantha's Cancer Journey
Donation protected
Today, we invite you to join us in stepping up for a truly special young woman — Samantha Sinsabaugh, a bright, kind, and hardworking sophomore in our community.
Recently, Samantha was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of cancer known as Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS). What began as a small growth on her hand led to a life-changing diagnosis just before Spring Break. She is now facing an intense journey: 42 weeks of chemotherapy and treatment.
Despite all she is going through, Samantha's spirit remains strong. She is an A student who loves to learn, serve, and uplift those around her. She longs to be back in the classroom, connecting with peers and teachers — something she dearly misses.
Several of us had the privilege of visiting Samantha recently. When we arrived, she was overcome with emotion and gratitude. In her words, she "didn't know anyone really knew about her." Samantha is truly a remarkable young woman whose quiet strength has touched many hearts.
As Samantha and her family adjust to the overwhelming changes that come with a diagnosis of this magnitude, we would like to offer our support. Life has shifted dramatically for them, and navigating ongoing medical treatments, transportation needs, and family responsibilities will require extra care, time, and resources.
We are launching STEP UP 4 SAM — an awareness and support campaign — to show Samantha and her family that they are not alone. Contributions will go directly to the family to help ease some of the burdens they are facing during this difficult season.
Please consider stepping up for Sam today. Together, we can help carry a piece of this journey with her.
