• “Step by Step: A New Leg for Dad”

Hello friends! As many of you know my dad had his leg amputated about 7 years ago.
His prosthetic leg is on its last “leg” literally lol
We applied for funding from various organizations and we were next up to get a $55,000 leg from War Amps. Needless to say my dad was so excited because his current leg is being held together by some twist ties (he is so handy…or should I say leggy in this case??) and is extremely heavy which causes him to be in pain a lot of time.
However, funding was pulled at the last minute and they were unable to fund the new prosthetic leg.
Now, we are looking to get him the base model which will still be extremely helpful for him.
We have been saving and got some funding from the government and now we are left with $3500 and looking for any support to expediate the process for my dad.
Any contribution will be gladly appreciated. He just turned 80 and surprises me everyday with the energy and zest for life that he has.

Much love to you all❤️
