Stenzel Fire Recovery

Donation protected
At 3:00 AM on Monday, 9 Jul 2018, our son’s family, (Tyson, Stacy, Cyrus and Aurora Stenzel) were awakened by their neighbor as their house was on fire.  Because of where the fire was and how rapidly it was spreading, they had no time to gather any personal effects.  Huge praises to the neighbor for awakening Tyson and his family and to the Portland, OR fire department for their immediate response.  From all indications however, the house is a total loss as are the family’s personal possessions.  While they had renters insurance, there are immediate needs not covered by their insurance policy.  To complicate matters, Aurora is handicapped and her special needs equipment was in the garage and completely destroyed along with the Suburban needed to transport her, her equipment and the family.  At this early stage, it’s impossible to ascertain how much money will be needed to restore them to where they were just yesterday.  However immediate needs are for clothing, personal hygiene, cooking utensils/supplies, children’s toys and transportation to replace the destroyed suburban.  We are Tyson’s parents (Randy and Jacki Stenzel), and never in a million years would we thought we’d have to reach out to others for help for our children. If you could help Tyson and his family recover from this tragedy, we will be forever grateful.  In advance of your generosity, thank you for reading this and helping where you can.
