Help Maryanne on Her Road to Recovery

Hi, my name is Ngozi Dozie and I'm raising funds for my dear friend Maryanne Maina, who has been struck by Motor Neuron Disease.

I have known Maryanne for almost 15 years and she has a beautiful soul. I don't believe I have ever seen her without a smile on her face.

Yet her light was dimmed about two and half years ago when a procedural error during routine surgery perforated the sheaths that protect motor neurons, leaving her with a devastating trauma-induced nerve degenerative condition.

Her Current Condition

Her nerves and muscles have degenerated completely, leaving her with total loss of motor function. She is currently under critical home care with an invasive tracheostomy-supported ventilator.

There Is Hope

There is promising stem-cell and transplant treatment available in India. We urgently need to raise funds to take Maryanne to India for this life-saving treatment.
