Joshua suffered a massive hypoxic brain injury as a result of a seizure going on for 50 minutes and not receiving the medicine to his system to stop it. In the past almost 18 months he has made some great strides and did things the doctors said he wouldn’t. Because of the caring PICU doctors who won’t give up on him he is receiving PT/OT/ST to help him make strides in recovery.  We would like to try a round of stem cell treatments in Panama with therapy to see what gains we can make. These are donated cells from umbilical tissue. This is an expensive therapy that is not covered by insurance that we pray would help Joshua recover even more. This will require a week stay to receive the treatment. We don’t know what this treatment will help him recover... some people have sought out three to four rounds, we want to start with one and see how it goes! Praying for a miracle!
