My name is Adam, and I’m living with Friedreich’s Ataxia, a rare neuromuscular disease that has changed my life in profound ways. Over the years, my mobility has been affected immensely—I can no longer run or hike as I used to, and even standing or walking for more than five minutes has become a challenge. Despite these obstacles, I am determined to continue pursuing my dream of making it through medical school and building a future where I can help others.
Recently, I learned about a promising stem cell treatment offered by Dr. Landers in Palm Desert, CA. This treatment could help me stay out of a wheelchair for a few more years, giving me the time and mobility I need to keep moving forward with my education and my life. The funds raised will go directly toward the cost of the treatment and the specialized company that will freeze and store the stem cells, as well as any related expenses that come up along the way.
My journey hasn’t been easy. My mother became a widow when I was 16 after my father passed away from a heart attack, and my family has supported me as much as they can. Now, I’m reaching out to my community for help. Your support will make a real difference in my ability to access this treatment and continue working toward my goals. Thank you for being part of my story and helping me take the next step forward.
