Stem Cell Treatment and Expenses

Hello my name is Mikayla Tillman. On a night that was supposed to have been fun and memberable changed not only my life but my 6 yr. old son’s as well. On November 26, 2022 I went out to celebrate with friends at a night club after our class reunion. While enjoying the night gun fire erupted. I was shot in the left side of my neck that left me with a C4 spinal cord injury. The only thing that play in my head about that night is me going down and saying lord please let my son know that I love him. I spent two weeks at University Hospital before being transferred to Shepard Center Rehabilitation Hospital where I spent 2 months with hopes and dreams of having parts of my life back. I’ve missed out on precious moments with my son that I can’t ever get back. Moving forward I just pray with the help of others I’ll be able to have this Stem-Cell transplant with hopes of gaining some parts of my mobility back.
