I am raising funds to help cover medical expenses after undergoing a stem cell transplant for a rare, transformed lymphoma. I was first diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2017, and after years of treatment and remission, my lymphoma unfortunately transformed, which made my case especially rare and challenging, requiring even more intensive care and sidelining me from work. Along with 3 months of intense chemo, I also needed immunotherapy and more chemotherapy before the stem cell transplant occurred. This required weeks upon weeks in the hospital as I needed constant monitoring and isolation. As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly difficult journey, both physically and emotionally. However I am doing my best to recover and regain my strength. The transplant was necessary after my lymphoma transformed and returned, and the process has involved countless hospital visits, treatments, and follow-up care.

The biggest challenge I am facing right now is the mounting medical bills. Although I have insurance, the out-of-pocket costs are very high and treatment spanned over two calendar years making the out-of-pocket costs even higher, and it’s been tough to keep up with everything. These expenses include not only the transplant itself, but also ongoing medications, doctor visits, and other recovery-related costs. Every dollar raised will go directly toward easing this financial burden and helping me focus on healing.
