Stem Cell Hope for Tuff & Jade
Donation protected
Tuff and Jade have the opportunity for umbilical cord stem cells! Many of you know Tuff was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes (T1D) officially February 2023. A few short months later we found out through antibodies testing in Denver that Jade is positive 1 of 5 antibodies, which means she could be next for a T1D diagnosis. We have done months of research to ensure these are the cleanest and safest stem cells a person can get as well as months of trying to figure out financially how to get them both stem cells. The longer we wait on stem cells the more "good" cells Tuff loses which decreases his chance for this to cure and/or help him. We cannot guarantee this would be a cure, but we have really high hopes!! These exact stem cells have proven to beat stage 4 cancer! Last August I unfortunately took a large paycut which has made it tough on our family and unable to finance the treatment. Stem cells are not covered by my work insurance or any insurance because it's a "natural" procedure. The benefits will be amazing for both kids. We know times are tough for everyone, so if you are unable to donate we would appreciate positive thoughts and Prayers. It has taken alot to even setup a gofundme as we are not the type to ask for help. Tyler and I both work full time and we do not qualify for any state help, even with my paycut. Thank you all for taking the time to read! I cannot wait to update once we have stem cell treatment done. I also cannot wait to give back to the community once we get back up on our feet again!
