Sophia Needs Your Help
Donation protected
In 2017, Sophie endured a life-changing event that would eventually lead to her CP (Cerebral Palsy) diagnosis at 3. With this has come a life of challenges and difficulties for Sophie. Her need for ongoing doctor appointments, daily therapy sessions, and medications will always keep her working towards a better life. Yet, despite all of this, she continues to leave us in awe with her resilience and growth.
Her diagnosis means she has developmental delays, vision impairments and obstacles with simple movements, like ones that we take for granted daily. The strides she has taken are grand, but we know there is so much more she is meant to accomplish.
Her smile lights up a room, she loves cuddles with her Nana, and no one can make her laugh like her brother Jaxson. Seeing her try her best is why we want to provide the best life possible for her and allow her to flourish!
Sophie is getting the opportunity to participate in a stem cell program at HOST-Hematology Outpatient Services & Treatments in Monterrey, Mexico. This program allows her to receive regenerative therapy using her stem cells to replace damaged and nonfunctioning cells in the brain. She will be there a week in June for the procedure and return home to continue her therapy at the Colorado Foundation of Conductive Education. Intensive Therapy will be ongoing for at least two months after this procedure.
We are looking to raise $18,000 to help cover the cost of treatments, therapy, medication, equipment, travel and other expenses needed to support Sophie’s development.
Everyone has a story, and we hope you will like to be a part of Sophie’s next chapter and allow her this opportunity. Our family thanks you for all the support and prayers you have given Sophia thus far. Please keep them coming and tune in for updates on her progress!
