UPDATE: Billy Stelzer left us early Saturday morning and is now peacefully resting. All contributions made from here on out will go towards memorial funds. Please keep the Stelzer family in your thoughts through this difficult holiday season.

Veronica Stelzer has been my best friend since middle school going on 8 years now. She has never failed to show me what unconditional love and compassion truly are, especially through some of my toughest moments of life. To everyone around her, she is always a shoulder to cry on, a buddy to adventure with, and a goober to crack silly jokes with. I look up to her for being one of the most down to earth, hardworking, resilient, and spunky individuals I've ever known.
Unfortunately, over the past couple weeks, crisis has cruelly struck the Stelzer family. Billy Stelzer, Veronica's father, was admitted to the ER for congestive heart failure, followed by an extremely unexpected stroke, later followed by cerebral hemorrhage. Currently, he is in an induced coma, undetermined whether or not he will successfully wake up and gain adequate cognitive function.
The financial responsibilities that the Stelzer family have incurred are beyond hefty -- with now only one single parent income expected to embody funding the hospital bills, a sophomore in high school with a multitude of costly extracurriculars, and a junior on scholarship at USC, monetary pressures are heavily accumulating on Tina Stelzer.
There are many bills and other financial demands with extremely imminent deadlines. I have started a GoFundMe page in hopes of helping Veronica, Tina (mother), and Ainsley (sister) out in any way possible, well knowing that they would never ask this of anyone themselves. Every single donation is greatly appreciated.
Please send the Stelzer family all your love and best thoughts. Your support means more than the world to them during these trying times. Never forget to tell your loved ones how much you love and appreciate them every day -- you never know what can happen.
