Crystelle's 2025 World University Games Fundraiser

Hi, I’m Crystelle – and I’m thrilled to share my journey as I work towards representing Great Britain at the 2025 FISU World University Games in Rhine, Germany!

Representing Great Britain at the 2025 FISU World University Games in Rhine, Germany would be a dream come true. As a passionate gymnast and proud member of the Scottish national team, I’ve dedicated years of hard work to reach this level—and now I have the chance to compete on an international stage alongside the best university athletes in the world.

However, this incredible opportunity is completely self-funded. I’ll need to cover all expenses, including flights, accommodation, and competition kit. In order to attend this competition I will need to raise approximately £4,500, plus additional travel costs.

I started gymnastics when I was just 3 years old, and I’m now proud to be training at Park Wrekin Gymnastics Club, where I train five times a week. I’m currently in my third year studying Sports Coaching and Development at the University of Stirling, balancing my studies alongside my training.

In 2022, I had to miss out on the Commonwealth Games due to an ankle injury—something that was incredibly tough after all the hard work I’d put in. That’s why this opportunity to compete on the international stage means so much to me. Representing Great Britain has always been a dream of mine, and I’m absolutely over the moon to have the chance to make it a reality.
