Volleyball has become more than just a sport to me — it’s my passion, my motivation, and the place where I feel the most determined to become something greater. Recently, I was given an incredible opportunity to take my volleyball journey further, but getting there comes with costs that my family simply cannot afford. My mum is a single parent who works tirelessly to support me and my two siblings. Because of this, I don’t want her to have to worry about spending money on my dream when she already carries so much responsibility. Volleyball is something I’ve dedicated countless hours to training for, pushing myself physically and mentally, and it has taught me discipline, resilience, and belief in myself. Being able to travel and compete would not only be a huge step in my athletic journey, but also a chance to represent the hard work and sacrifices my family has made. I’m asking for help from anyone who believes in young athletes chasing their dreams, even when their circumstances make it difficult.
