Stella’s from MACC Medical Fundraiser!!

Stella came from Manhattan ACC. Her records show that while in their care, she was very frightened, panicky and had several seizures. Her neurological deficits were very pronounced when ECHO pulled her from the shelter. Subsequent visits to the vet and to the Neurology Vet Specialist and extensive bloodwork have led to a diagnosis of Toxoplasma, something that can be treated! Stella has a way to go; a treatment regime and more visits to the specialist, but she is on the right track! She is gaining more strength and shows improvements in her coordination every day. Her follow-ups with the specialist and adherence to her treatments are critical. We are hoping for a complete recovery!

Stella’s treatment will be over $1500 in order to get her healthy and then she will still need to be spayed provided she can be cleared medically.
