Let me tell you a story about a sweet little girl named Teri. Teri is 1 year old, she has round chubby cheeks, and a smile that can light up the room. She is young and bright and the future ahead is looking beautiful--except for one terrible thing: her mother, Stella, has cancer.

Stella found out about her diagnosis only a year ago and immediately charted a plan to fight this disease for Teri.

She has already endured two rounds of chemotherapy whilst trying to manage some part-time work and raising Teri. Her hair is gone, her nails are blackened, and she has lost so much weight. Most heartbreaking of all, Stella is too weak to hold Teri anymore. Stella's husband, Glen, is exhausting himself every day trying to make sure they can stay afloat through the struggles of the pandemic, rising inflation, etc. Stella's family has pooled together as much support as they can to hire help for household chores, medication, and trips to the hospital. Despite all this, the bills stack higher and higher because her insurance covers so very little of the total cost of treatment and surgery.

Every day, Stella continues to struggle and do the best she can. She has not and will not give up hope.
