Julie Weeks Miles passed away suddenly on June 20, 2023, at the age of 44. Julie was a dedicated and passionate special education teacher. Her kindness and patience created a safe and nurturing learning environment where her students thrived. She was always willing to go the extra mile to help her students succeed, and her commitment to education was unwavering.

Perhaps what defined Julie most was her ability to make friends with anyone she met. Her infectious smile and kind heart drew people to her, and she had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel seen and valued. Her friendships were deep and meaningful, and she cherished each and every one of them.

Julie was a devoted mother to her 12-year-old daughter Stella, who was the light of her life. She instilled in her daughter a love of learning, a passion for animals and travel, and the importance of kindness and friendship. Her legacy will live on through her daughter and the countless lives she touched throughout her life.

In lieu of flowers, an education fund for Stella has been established. All money donated will go directly into an account for Stella's education expenses to continue Julie's passion for education through Stella.
