Help My Boston Terrier (Stella) with Surgery cost

Hi everyone, I came to the decision to start a gofundme account for my Boston Terrier (Stella). She needs to have a lump removed that is growing on her belly next to one of her nips. I adopted Stella when she was 5 yrs old and have been with her for about 5 years now. She's a wonderful, beautiful and caring companion to have by your side. She's loves to be silly and is very loving with whomever she comes in contact with. She's a sweet girl. Almost a year ago I noticed a small lump growing on her tummy area, right next to her lower right teet or nip. I took her to the Vet and they did the basic check up, bloodwork, and tested the lump to see if it was cancerous. Hours later I received the news that it was not cancerous but still needed to have it removed surgically and that it would cost anywhere between $900.00 to $1,000. AND to get it done before it gets even bigger, infected, cancerous, and a list of other negative issues it could cause. Well that was about 6 months ago and it's been such a struggle trying to save for her surgery on my own. With my bills, rent, groceries, hygiene products, Stella's dog food and treats. It's been near impossible for me to be able to pay for her this surgery, and knowing that alone just makes me feel really down, like a bad pet owner. She deserves so much better than me! Cause she's such a loving, sweet, and funny lil Boston Terrier. I Love her very much though and I know she knows that I do. And before doing this gofundme fundraiser, I had reached out to someone who claimed on having a foundation for pet owners who need assistance with pet bills, or pet food etc (no names). I was Sooo thankful and happy for this person that was finally putting my mind at ease, and especially since I was reassured that Stella would be taken care of. We just needed to set a surgery date and we'd be set. But that never happened, all I got was promise after promise from this person that he will "Definitely" take care of her by the end of the week, then it was by next Monday, then after Xmas, then at the beginning of the new year, then just days of unanswered messages. I sent messages to his email and thru messsenger and no reply. So after 4 months of being as patient and as understanding as I could.... I mean I was just waiting for a date to be set. So one week about a month ago I messaged him everyday that week and and I finally received a response, it was a disappointing response. And the response was not only disappointing, but very nonchalant and unprofessional especially considering all the time that had been wasted on waiting for a response and other times of me being hopeful on waiting for her surgery date to be set. It was very upsetting, ESPECIALLY for my dog Stella that now has a lump that is 3xs bigger than it was when we were first were promised that she would be taken care of. Now this lump is bothering her more and more with everyday that passes by. I never responded to this person after that last message. I mean what do u respond with when someone sends u a message like this " Sorry Mia, I'm not going to be able to help out with Stella's surgery. I have a lot on my plate, a Benefit Dinner that i need to focus on, and a eviction that im facing. So ur going to have to look for another way or another organization to help you out". U know I never doubted during this time that this person had a foundation for pets. I did however feel that this person was more about wanting to be recognized by his peers for his charity work. I just wanted you guys to know that I did try other options before doing this gofundme fundraiser. So I really hope and pray that you guys can help with a donation , so I can get Stella the surgery or procedure done as soon as possible for her sake and for my peace of mind and my sleepless nights of worrying.
